From Kenton Nelson’s Thirty Swimming Pools exhibition at Peter Mendenhall Gallery 2021, we have two exhibition posters available. In this poster, the painting featured is #15 Suggestion, which has a cropped view of a pool with a reflection of puffy clouds peeking over the edge of a structure. The artist started his series of pool paintings titles at #10, as an homage to artist Ed Ruscha’s Nine Swimming Pools photographic art book from the 1960’s, continuing on documenting swimming pools and the worlds existing in the reflections.
